San Diego-based light-painting photographer Darren Pearson has a knack for drawing elaborate illustrations in mid-air using light. He frequently draws skeletons into his long-exposure photos, and recently created a series of photos showing a skateboarding skeleton. It’s called “Spot Check.” Here’s the awesome animation that resulted when the photographs are strung together:

You might remember Pearson from when we featured his work back in September 2011. At the time he was working on a series of light-paintings showing dinosaur fossils.

You can find more of his creative light painting photographs over on his Flickr stream.
