Fujifilm’s FinePix Army Updates its Arsenal with New Shooters

Fuji has released five new point-and-shoots today to add to its FinePix lineup that Fuji is boasting to be packing some powerful new features. Some of which include the all too familiar and unoriginal “World’s fastest autofocus speed,” Wi-Fi capabilities, and ultra-long zoom. Depending on how much you’re willing to spend on a point-and-shoot and what you need, Fuji’s FinePix series cameras should fit the bill nicely.

Beginning with the premium tier F900EXR, this compact shooter packs some impressive features such as the new Intelligent Hybrid AF system that automatically switches between Phase Detection and Contrast Detection to get focus speeds as fast as “0.05 seconds.” Handling all your images is as 1/2″ 16MP EXR-CMOS II sensor and a 25-500mm equivalent 20x zoom lens with Intelligent Digital Zoom which technically doubles the zoom capability.

Something that we’re beginning to see become more prevalent is Wi-Fi capabilities in compact cameras. The F900EXR looks to join that category with its wireless feature which allows you to transfer your images and videos onto your mobile device.
