In December 2012, Nino Film was hired by Sotheby’s, one of the world’s largest auctioneers of fine and decorative art, jewelry and collectibles, to shoot a film in Vienna’s Leopold Museum about the work of Austrian expressionist painter Egon Schiele, who died in 1918. Sotheby’s auctioned some of Schiele’s paintings from the Leopold collection in an auction set in London in early February 2013 and managed to achieve record prices for the paintings (click here).
This was a two-day shoot with 2 Canon C300′s, the terrific Kessler CineSlider, plus a Canon 600D and 550D for timelapse recordings. We used a kit of Litepanels Sola ENGs (daylight) as well as Dedolights (tungsten) for lighting.
