Canon Singapore has announced a new “Try and Buy” program that will have local rental shops shaking in their boots. The program at the moment is only available (or will be soon) in Singapore but if the program is successful it may come stateside. When it becomes available it will allow you to “borrow” any two lenses for up to two days at a time for a set price. There are some incentives that are also attached which include the ability to buy the lens at anytime with a discounted extended warranty. Another is if you have attended a Canon Imaging paid course / workshop will enjoy 50% off their rental.
