This is a brief excerpt from Cinema5D News
We really loved the Metabones Speedbooster adapter, a device that transforms any aps-c sized sensor to a full frame lookalike and gives us one full additional stop of light. Here’s R.J.’s take on the Speedbooster with a version for Nikon cameras.
Word is out that Metabones’ Speedbooster for MFT mounts is delayed until later this year, which is unfortunate as there are many MFT cameras we would like to boost that way.
Fortunately R.J. who also has his own version of the NEX to EOS adapter (that works quite well actually) just delivered his own Speedbooster adapter.
There is not electronic contact (no AF and no aperture control) but it costs $196.00 only. Metabones doens’t yet offer a Nikon to NEX adapter. And the Chinese company choose to fill exactly that spot.
